Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting production processes, ensuring smooth operations, and helping maintain high standards of product quality. You’ll work closely with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support product assembly and quality control processes.
- Document and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering is a plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing fundamentals, including production processes, equipment, and materials.
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining machinery and systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
